Our founder, Eric Mendes, had a simple but powerful idea around 2010 that led to our family-run business 10 years later. As a student and immigrant living in a small apartment, Eric struggled with managing laundry in tight spaces. This challenge stayed with him for years. Everything changed in 2019 when Eric's parents joined him in Canada. Seeing his mother struggle with laundry, Eric knew it was time to bring his idea to life. With his parents' help, they created several prototypes, finally crafting one that really worked. Our friends loved it and encouraged us to share it with the world.

Launching Laundry Turtle wasn't easy. We faced many challenges, including the pandemic, but we persevered. Today, we're thrilled to see how well our product has been received and how much it's helping people.Our goal at Laundry Turtle is simple: keep growing and innovating. We want to make life easier for our customers with practical, effective products.Why Laundry Turtle?The name "Laundry Turtle" has a special meaning for us. It’s a tribute to Eric's mom, whom the family calls "Tartaruguinha" or "Little Turtle." in portuguese.
